Sailor Qualifications

Ages 7-18 are welcome to join our sailing classes in Dana Point, perfect for beginner through intermediate skill levels. On the first day of each session, participants will need to pass a relatively easy swim test. While enjoying the activities at our sailing camp in Dana Point, it is essential to wear a properly fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved PFD at all times on the water.

Join us for DWYC's sailing camp in Dana Point, offering an exciting schedule of sailing classes. Our sessions for 2025 are as follows: Session 1 runs from June 16-20, Session 2 from June 23-27, Session 3 from July 7-11, Session 4 from July 14-18, Session 5 from July 21-25, Session 6 from July 28-Aug 2, and Session 7 from Aug 4-8. Camp is held Monday - Friday, from 9:00am to 3:30pm at the Dana West Yacht Club (DWYC), located at 24601 Dana Harbor Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629. On Fridays, lunch is provided for all participants. 

Cancellations are handled as follows: 

- Prior to May 31st: 100% refund 

- June 1st – 13th: 50% refund 

- At the start of the session: No refund unless we can fill the spot one week before the session begins. 

- Cancellations made within 3 days of registering will be fully honored and refunded.
